Newberry Travel is small group travel agency that provides trips to new and well versed travelers who want to experience the world in a new way. While many people are starting to think about sustainability in travel – like not having the room reset each day, or using towels for a couple of days, Newberry’s view of sustainable travel goes deeper – into understanding and being part of the community. How about being a regular at one coffee shop on your trip and getting to know the barista? What do they do after work? What struggles do they face? It’s these little interactions that build a community as you travel, making you feel more connected than just passing through. Perhaps this translates then to you picking up a little bit of litter or using public transit – because where you’re visiting now feels like home and you want to take care of it. Newberry Travel will have you traveling in a more conscious, thoughtful and forward-looking way. I’m simply here to help guide you, but the experience is what you make of it!
