When you are dating around for a CPA, be sure to ask these questions:
What's your turn time?
How do you charge and how much? Ex. hourly or per project?
Can you do sales tax?
Can you do payroll tax?
Can you file both my business and my household taxes?
Do I need to collect sales tax? and how much is that?
Do you help with tax planning and forecasting?
How much, for my business model, should I set aside for taxes?
How would you recommend I structure my bank accounts?
Do you have a preferred way that I document my income and expenses?
Based on my business type, are there industry specific taxes?
How would you recommend I set up my business, sole, LLC, or something else?
Here you can find a template of a Washington state LLC agreement.
